Description

A colored scan of an atomic bomb test identification card for Bernard W. Detlefsen, who was affiliated with the "Project Crossroads" atomic bomb testing on Bikini Atoll in 1946.

On the front of the card, "Atomic Bomb Test: Joint Task Force One" is printed. A gold eagle seal can be seen on the background of the image. An expiration date of September 1, 1946 is printed on the front. It is signed by Vice Admiral William H. P. Blandy, United States Navy.

On the back of the card is Detlefsen's identification information, including color of hair, height, weight, eye color, and birth date. Detlefsen's signature and imprint of his right index finger is also shown on the back of the card.
