He also wishes Ben and Myrtle good health and long happy life. Letter is from Ed Vorous.
Ben Gilbert Hartman (1916-1996) was born in Thrall, Texas. He entered the Army Air Corps in 1943 and trained in California, Texas, and Nebraska. He served in the Marianas, and was awarded the American Theater of Operations (ATO) service medal, APO ribbon, 3 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct medal, and Victory Ribbons. He married Myrtle Horbratsch in 1946.
