Dear Friend,
Will ans your letter of a few days ago. Was very good to hear from you. How is every thing with you all tonite? Fine I hope. I'm still okay + feel fine all the time. Boy you have got plenty to do these days don't you: I know you miss your fishing. Wish I was down there to work on your boat for you. I saw a native fishing today with a throw net. Boy they hardly ever miss one. Saw Red is in Africa? I'd sure like to run across some of the boys from down there. I'd forgot about you having a baby girl. I'll bet she does give Anne a tussle. I used to hear from Roy's folks there, but haven't heard lately tho. Guess they are pretty busy. They sure have some nice boats and water over here. Wish you could see this place. I'd sure like to see Buchanan Lake again. Yea a fellow will have to wait some time before he can get a jeep. But I intend to get me one then. I'll bet that town is sure quiet these days with all the boys gone. I hope all of them get back, when all this mess is all over. How is hog eye making out there these days? Does he still make the dances at the barn? I'd like to make another good one there myself. Where is your dad living at now? I guess that Lewis is over here some place. I'll find them some day. I hope. Do you still live over in the east part of town? How is the weather down there? Are you having plenty of rain? I hope so. Wish I could have been there on the 1st of May. Lots of good fish wasn't caught I bet. Well take care of yourself and tell all hello. Always, Karl.
