Digital scan of black and white photograph of a jeep carrying two soldiers with a white sign on the front reading "Marching Troops/ Slow Please." Behind on a dirt road next to a field is a column of marching troops. This is Dwight Thompson's (who moved to Taylor after the war) platoon. They are at the recruit reception center in Ft. Sheridan, Illinois in 1941, just before WWII.
