Black and white photograph of Santos Zamarripa of Round Rock, Texas in U.S. Army cadet uniform. He is sitting on a log with one leg up and one on the ground. Behind him there is a backdrop of a forest.

Zamarripa, son of Adrian and Roibia Zamarripa, was born in Round Rock on November 1, 1925. He was a Private First Class in the 395th Infantry, 99th Division. He died in combat near the Rhine River in the Battle for Germany on March 5, 1945. He is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Liege, Belgium.
