Zamarripa, son of Adrian and Roibia Zamarripa, was born in Round Rock on November 1, 1925. He was a Private First Class in the 395th Infantry, 99th Division. He died in combat near the Rhine River in the Battle for Germany on March 5, 1945. He is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Liege, Belgium.
